First off, I'd like to welcome you all to our humble little website and enjoy.
When we, (meaning the wife and yours truly), started this site, the intent was not to just focus on me, the racer, but, also the history and the people in that history of what will become Rick Fox Racing, and hopefully beyond. As the months go along, we hope to add to the site as much as possible, the Fox racing history page, the Fox racing photo history page, and especially a photographic timeline of a 1979 Chevy Impala once driven by a nice little old lady, to a racecar competing for a Factory Stock championship at The Rock-Allegany County Speedway in 2009. Next season, as the season rolls along, we hope to inform-you-the racing fan, a look into our little world of ups and downs of a spawning race team.
I dedicate this site to Mom and Dad.
Scientifically, I believe there is a racing gene. It gets passed on every once and a while, and some of us are thankful of this scientific wonder. Someday, I look forward to running my first lap at Hesston Speedway, as my Dad did, some 40 odd years ago.
Once my Dad's stock car days were over, my furthest memories are of Mom taking my brother and me to Hesston, and watching the Naves, Wrights, Burketts, Chamberlains of the day, battling it out for the checkered flag. It was those hot summer night's of 1971-72, that this was what I (someday) wanted to do. Yes, Mom. You have something to do with this......
